The song speaks about the awakening of inner demons and was written in our Crimson Noise days, just before the name change to Dream Of Fire in 2013. A staple of DOF live shows that showcases Jacobo and Marco's dual vocals. The title track of our first record, released in 2016.
The artwork was created by our great friend and collaborator DAVID CUBERO using a combination of real life photography and illustration.
The album was presented on February 19th 2016 at El Sótano with our friends CABEZA DE VINIL as special guests. That night they surprised us in front of the audience with a hand drawn poster they made for the show, a unique copy that they gave us as a gift.
The art is a mecha in black and red, and at the top they wrote our name in Japanese, 火の夢, hi no yume, dream of fire. If you look closely the head of the mecha is a vinyl record, which is how they signed it. We have never used those characters anywhere else.
The poster hangs framed in the live room at Apex Studios, Teri's studio and DOF headquarters, as a trophy of that night and a reminder of the great love and respect we have for CDV.
