There is a speech in the middle of the instrumental section. For the keen listener, a very intelligent man once said those words, wondering what an alien would think about us as humans, our society and our behavior. Maybe they took one look and kept going.
Out of sight, out of mind.
The voice is not his. What you hear is a machine reading it.
We wrote the song in 2017 while we were putting Dust and Shadows together and it has stayed in our live set ever since. We still play it.
For that record our great friend and collaborator DAVID CUBERO illustrated every single song. Eleven songs, eleven drawings in black ink. The one for Out Of Sight is a stone monolith cracked open and burning, with a staircase going up to it and light coming out from behind.
All of it was printed in the CD book we put out in 2019. We only made 50 copies and we have about 10 or 15 left. You can find them at our merch table while supplies last.
